Remote interpretation platform Interactio raises $30M in the largest Series A rounds in the RSI industry

Interactio,  has raised $30 million in Series A funding, making it the largest Series A round in the RSI industry.  Interactio a leading remote interpretation platform.

They work with the world’s largest institutions (e.g. European Parliament, European Commission, United Nations) and corporates (e.g. BMW, JP Morgan, Microsoft) to provide real-time multilingual interpretation services for remote or hybrid meetings.

Two of the world’s leading software providers combine to make on Super Company


Ungerboeck and EventBooking, two of the world’s leading software providers of event and venue management tools announced a merger. The merge will allow the single company to offer customers an integrated set of capabilities that will severely benefit the world of events. It will also provide customers with expedited technology enhancements and accelerated innovation while continuing the focus on customer success.

With the backing of Cove Hill Partners, the two leaders bring over 50 years of experience together to power the events world in ways never before possible. Manish Chandak of Ungerboeck will serve as President and CEO. Steve Mackenzie of EventBooking will serve as Executive Vice President.

Event Tech Awards 2021: Meet the Judges – Sophie Ahmed


Event Industry News has launched the newest edition of their ‘Meet the Judges,’ campaign.  Sophie Ahmed will be a judge for the upcoming Event Tech Live festival between June 8th and 10th.

This week the interview focuses on getting to know Ahmed. A judge with over 20 years of experience in the media and events, including exhibitions, conferences, awards, and training in multiple sectors.

Swapcard CEO set for opening session at ETL USA & Canada

The CEO and Co-Founder at virtual, hybrid, and in-person events platform Swapcard, will host the first keynote session at Event Tech Live USA & Canada next month.

Baptiste Boulard will host the Future of Events keynote session on the first day of Event Tech Live. This session will show how communities will be built and engaged online this year and into the future. 

The session runs from 9:00am to 9:45am Central Standard Time (3:00pm to 3:45pm BST) 

Founded in 2013, Swapcard has been an active visitor, exhibitor, and contributor to Event Tech Live in its UK & Europe incarnation.
