Event Tech Live’s competition for start-ups is now open to the public.

Event Tech Live’s competition for Start-Up companies has launched public voting. This is a terrific way for new companies who are bringing the best technology for virtual and hybrid events to the forefront of their industry.

The three with the most votes will present their tech via live stream, on Thursday 10th June, day three of ETL USA & Canada.

Event Tech Live is a three-day virtual event that runs from June 8-10!

Event sustainability group, Isla to Address Sustainable Print in the Events Industry

 

Isla has launched a new membership and working group centered around the idea of tackling the issue of sustainable print in the events industry. The group is keen on tackling one of the event industries’ most pressing environmental issues. They are set on reducing its impact globally.

The membership is open to all event service providers that work in the events industry and have large format print services in-house. In composition, the working group is made up of the print service suppliers and existing isla members from both agency and supply side, and already includes Macro Art, RHM Event Graphics, The Graphical Tree, Spectral Creative and Rocket Graphics, as well as Human Built and Xquisite productions, who were already members of Isla.

Stress Matters launch online courses to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week

 

Stress Matters are launching a series of support services to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week, May 10–16. 

The courses include Managing mental health and stress for eventprofs and Designing and delivering mentally safe events. The online courses are set to support people with mental health who will be involved with the reopening.

 “I’m absolutely thrilled that the pressures that our industry faces are being addressed in an accessible format.  We have partnered with Stress Matters for a number of years and the whole team brings such enthusiasm and dedication to improving the wellbeing of the industry.”  Claire Fennelow, Executive Director of EVCOM, and Lisa Hatswell, Managing Director of Unique Venues of London are also endorsing the courses.

The London-based Creative Agency was ecstatic to receive the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade.

Brandfuel specifies in the design, strategy, planning, and delivery of online virtual events and broadcasts, conferences, exhibitions, experiential activations, and brand consultancy for some of the world’s largest organizations.

Event Tech Live USA and Canada have just announced their full program of events that will take place over three days between June 8th and 10th. You can read the program in full, here!

Among 100+ sessions, with input from companies and individuals right across the world, Henry Balen, co-founder of event management platform Grenadine, talks Back to the Future, Perhaps with three of the company’s clients who produced/hosted online conferences in 2020.

Quadrant2Design announce the launch of their new website

 

Market-leading exhibition stand designer, Quadrant2Design, has announced the launch of their new website.  The Bournemouth-based company has been running for over 20 years. They decided it was time for a re-vamp. In addition, MD Alan Jenkins said,  “We’d had the old website for a number of years so the time had come to refresh it to reflect our new branding and bring it up to date”

MeetingPlay study tracks growing power of virtual events

 

Results, published in a new whitepaper that can be downloaded here, clearly demonstrate the end goal for virtual corporate events is nearly always the same as their in-person counterparts. Namely, corporations have become just as reliant on collecting lead generation from remote attendees as more traditional gatherings like meetings, conventions, and product launches.

“Generally speaking, virtual events work exceptionally well for demand generation compared to live events,” the white paper reads. “For example, it’s challenging to track conversations in a hallway or meetings in a sponsor booth at an in-person event. Virtual events can capture nearly every action and interaction associated with an event.”
